How do I care for my Olivia’s Tree candle?

A beautiful candle deserves thoughtful care. To enjoy the best possible fragrance experience and extend the life of your candle, we recommend the following:

• The first burn: Allow the melted wax to reach or nearly reach the edges of the vessel to encourage an even burn and minimize tunneling. Never burn for more than four hours at a time.

• Trim your wick: Before each lighting, gently remove the charred portion of your wooden wick and trim it to approximately 1/4 inch. This helps maintain a steady, controlled flame.

• Burn safely: Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Know when to stop: Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

How long will my candle last?

Our luxury candles are thoughtfully crafted to deliver a beautiful fragrance experience throughout their lifespan.

• 13 oz candles: Approximately 80 hours of burn time.

• 8 oz candles: Approximately 60 hours of burn time.

• 6 oz candles: Approximately 40 hours of burn time.

Actual burn times vary depending on candle care, placement, and burning conditions.

Why does my wooden wick make a crackling sound?

It's one of our favorite details.

Our plant-based wax blend is vegan and formulated without paraffin or soy, reflecting our commitment to thoughtfully chosen ingredients.

While coconut apricot wax is more costly than many conventional alternatives, we believe its quality and performance make it a worthwhile investment.

Reed Diffusers & Room Sprays

How do I use my Olivia’s Tree reed diffuser?

Our reed diffusers offer an effortless way to enjoy continuous home fragrance without a flame.

1. Unscrew the decorative cap and carefully remove the protective stopper from the bottle.

2. Replace the cap and insert the reeds into the fragrance oil.

3. Allow 24–48 hours for the reeds to absorb and begin dispersing the fragrance.

4. For a fragrance refresh, carefully flip the reeds every one to two weeks, or as needed.

5. Place your diffuser in a well-ventilated location, away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts.

Always protect surrounding surfaces from fragrance oil and keep diffusers out of reach of children and pets.

Where should I place my reed diffuser?

Reed diffusers are especially lovely in entryways, bathrooms, bedrooms, and other spaces where you want a consistent, welcoming fragrance.

For the best experience, choose an area with gentle air circulation. Avoid placing your diffuser directly on delicate wood, painted, or porous surfaces.

How do I use my Olivia’s Tree room spray?

Our luxury room sprays offer an effortless way to refresh your surroundings with sophisticated fragrance.

A little luxury for life's everyday moments. Our room sprays also double as a convenient before-you-go toilet spray. Simply spritz into the toilet bowl before use to help minimize unwanted odors.

Avoid spraying directly onto delicate fabrics, furniture, or finished surfaces. Keep away from children, pets, and open flames, and follow all product-label precautions.

Can I reuse my candle vessel?

Absolutely. We believe beautiful design should have a life beyond the candle.

Our elegant vessels can be repurposed as decorative accents or practical storage throughout your home.

Consider using yours to hold makeup brushes, cotton swabs, office accessories, or other small essentials.

Thoughtful reuse is one more way to extend the beauty and purpose of your Olivia’s Tree purchase.

How do I clean my candle vessel for reuse?

Once your candle has reached the end of its burn life, allow the vessel to cool completely.

Place the vessel in the freezer for approximately one to two hours to help the remaining wax contract. Gently loosen the hardened wax with a non-sharp utensil, taking care not to chip or damage the glass.

Remove the wick tab carefully and clean any remaining residue with warm, soapy water or a small amount of rubbing alcohol, following appropriate safety precautions.

Allow the vessel to dry completely before repurposing.
